MUSIC DINNER CONCERT EXCLUSIVE

MUSIC PROGRAMME

The Mozart Dinner Concert presents highlights of Mozart's works like arias and duettos from the operas "Don Giovanni" and the "Magic Flute". You will enjoy a lively and scenic performance.

Further to this our strings present movements from different instrumental works like the serenade "A little night music".
The three course dinner is served during concert breaks.

Now, speaking of Don Giovanni, before we move on to the dinner part, let's take a look at this divertimento:

What do you know about the main character of the song?

Now coming to the most delicious part of our lesson, the GOURMET DINNER.
Our dinner is carefully prepared according to recipes of the 18th century.

  • a piece of typical Salzburg white bread with butter (plz see the pic below)

  • cream soup with fine taste of lemons and rosemary-quark-dumpling

  • breast of roasted capon (special kind of chicken) on top of portwine glace, served with potato-pumpkin dumpling, semolina strudel and vegetables from Pater Prior's garden ;)

Now with a reference to Pater Prior follows a pic from Abbey Road - remember the Beatles album with the zebra?

  • semi-frozen parfait of honey served with two fruit sauces

For special occasions you can also have:

  • pastries with different spreads
  • Riesling cream soup with clams and crayfish
  • medium rare done fillet of beef with polenta and zucchini-sherry-tomato compote

Finally, we can even listen to the concert - please enjoy the "deliciously hilarious" one here:
